Bridges

Dental bridges are an effective and fixed (non removable) way to replace missing natural teeth. They allow for an aesthetic replacement of teeth that can also aid in chewing and function, as well as prevent shifting and movement of the remaining teeth. In addition, they do not require surgical intervention and can be completed in a relatively short (2-4 weeks) period of time.

Dental bridges are composed of three (or more) crowns that are soldered together. The first and last crowns are cemented to the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth, while the middle crown fills in the gap in between them. They can be made completely of metal, but are often made of porcelain fused to metal or zirconia for a more aesthetic appearance.
