Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Sara Khojasteh, backed by her highly skilled team, strives to deliver leading-edge dental treatment to you and your whole family. At Cannington Dental your oral health becomes our top priority. We are please to provide a multitude of dental services that will meet your needs and keep your smile beautiful.
Dr. Sara Khojasteh
Dr. Sara completed both her undergraduate and Dental studies at the University of Toronto. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012, graduating with honours.
Dr. Sara has a passion for continuing education and has completed courses in many different areas of dentistry, including but not limited to: implant restorations, conscious sedation, and Invisalign treatment. She particularly enjoys using biomimetic principles to maintain and restore patients’ natural teeth.
Dr. Sara is a member of the Ontario Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and strives to provide the highest quality of dentistry in a comfortable and enjoyable setting.
In her free time, Dr. Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children. She likes to travel with her family and experience different cultures around the world.
Dr. Elizabeth Prokopchuk
Dr. Liz graduated from University of Toronto in 1991 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. She has proudly serviced the Cannington and adjacent community since 1992.
Dr. Liz is an avid football fan, so don’t be alarmed if the chair side banter includes play by play updates of her beloved 49ers. Naturally, in the spring time the chatter turns to the Blue Jays.
Amy
Graduated in 2013 from Georgian Collage as a level II Dental Assistant. Amy started her dental career working in dental specialist office doing endodontic, oral surgery and periodontal procedures. Amy then moved to Brock township and started assisting and doing front desk in general family dentistry. At Cannington Dental Amy is know as our jack of all trades you might find her assisting chair side, helping in the back or at the front desk as an office administrator. In
Amy’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband two young kids making memories.
Angela
Graduated as a Dental Assistant in 1992. She has worked in the dental field for 30 years, most of which has been at the front desk as an office administrator. Her home life includes a wonderful Husband, Daughter and Mom. She spends most of her time at her summer trailer and enjoys time with family and friends whenever possible.
Karen
Stephanie-
Stephanie started working as a Dental Assistant in 2005 and later went to school for Dental Hygiene. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Durham College in 2010 and has been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist ever since. Stephanie joined the team at Cannington Dental in January 2020. When she is not at work she is spending time with her two children, and enjoys ice fishing and hunting.
